On 27th November, 101, OutdoorArtsUK, and Without Walls announced our intention to develop a 10-year sector strategy through a new partnership. With additional support from Arts Council England, the three organisations have commissioned Sud Basu to produce this document, with OutdoorArtsUK taking on the coordinator role.
The work to create the strategy document was launched at 101’s 10-year anniversary event, where 180 delegates were invited to imagine the sector’s next 10-years through a series of workshops and roundtable conversations. The partners are requesting the cross-section of the sector to fill in a specially designed survey, so that the diversity of perspectives can be captured.
OutdoorArtsUK will be organising further 121 conversations and focus group meetings as we head towards completion in June next year.
The ambition behind this strategy document is to bring the sector together and create a toolkit that help us make stronger arguments to funders, the public, and the Government.
101, OutdoorArtsUK, and Without Walls are the commissioners of this strategy rather than its authors, and we want the document to reflect the whole sector as much as possible and be for the benefit of everyone. We ask you to give us honest and constructive views that can lead to viable recommendations.
We recognise that the survey seeks substantial input from you, and we thank you in advance for your valuable contribution.
