Huge words of poetry appear in surprising places across the streets of Blackburn and Darwen. Produced by the National Festival of Making team, Of Earth and Sky is an installation by Luke Jerram, in collaboration with poet Hafsah Aneela Bashir of the Poetry Health Service.
For three months, giant-sized poetry appears in over 30 locations in Blackburn and Darwen from professional and amateur poets based locally, regionally and nationally. In addition to the trail, more poetry can be seen daily on the digital screen in Blackburn Town Centre.
The images are both playful and inspiring. Visit the Festival of Making gallery for more: Of Earth and Sky.
