We are a company specialising in video projection mapping artworks.
Much of our work is based on the heritage, history and culture of the place where the building stands. We strongly believe that the culture of any place is interesting to the wider world if treated sympathetically. Through our art we hope to reconnect the public with their own environment.
We come to our work with our own interest piqued; with an understanding of the barriers people may feel between themselves & any academic or historical subject. Through our interfacing role, we aim to remove the 'otherness' about academic knowledge. We relish basing our creative work on what may be perceived as difficult subjects.
For us, the audience is the critical final stage of the artwork. The work is not complete until they have received it. Sound needs to be listened to, its vibrations absorbed. In the same way visuals need to be seen. We don't see our art as self-contained & autonomous, we see it as a communication form.
We are happy to work collaboratively with local stakeholders and we often work with local groups as part of the creative process. In this way we hope to give the local viewer a sense of ownership of the piece. We also work with academics across a wide range of subjects.
