Articulture is a project-funded collective of freelance arts practitioners. We dream, create, and manage around our kitchen tables, as well as connecting and collaborating on the ground across Wales.
We juggle Articulture alongside other current projects we are passionate about, including the Magic Lantern Cinema, Celtic Neighbours, Green Horizons Sustainable Living Exhibition, Llais y Goedwig, the Living Landscape Arts Network, set painting and prop creation for people such as Mid Wales Opera, and running a bespoke upholstery business… and there’s more!
Articulture’s aim is to bring together practitioners in Wales to support innovation, collaboration & production of unique Outdoor Arts. A new and exciting era of developing outdoor work in Wales is here, with events such as Articulture’s The Great Outdoors Conference in 2012, and organisations such as NoFit State Circus, Pontio and National Theatre Wales producing and facilitating exciting projects.
Through small scale events, funding support and commissions, working directly with Wales based arts practitioners, development officers, funders, venues, festivals, and businesses, Articulture aims to sow seeds and generate space for new connections, conversations and nurturing of ideas.
