Join us every weekend through the month of August as we bring A Grand Day Out to various locations across the district. Expect full days of FREE family fun including giant inflatables, live music and workshops such as monster mask-making and traditional sports day activities.
In Castleford, Wakefield, Ossett, Featherstone and South Elmsall, a giant sandpit and seaside activities will bring that beach cheer.
Get up and close to Colony, a unique tactile audio-visual installation and performance involving large, interactive, audible spheres, which allow sound to be seen, heard and felt!
Every location will also enjoy live music by local and regional brass bands, as well as picnic areas and street food. Bring a blanket and settle in for a fun weekend of free entertainment – and don’t forget your camera as children and adults alike make everlasting memories!
