‘Legends, Lights & Lullabies’ (live), Sandbach back to all events
This April, the streets of Sandbach will be alight with song and story as SpareParts brings you Legends, Lights and Lullabies. A highlight of the weekend’s activity is Lullaby, by internationally renowned artist, Luke Jerram.
Sandbach residents are invited to engage with this unique interactive experience in a number of ways. On Thursday 15 April, selected households across the town will receive a copy of our specially commissioned bedtime story Chuck the Trucker. These lucky households will be part of the route for Lullaby, a magical illuminated bike parade specially commissioned as a gift to the town.
At dusk on Saturday 17 April residents are invited to watch from their windows as the magic of Lullaby passes by. Music will be heard drifting through the streets as a shoal of twinkling lights make their way across the town. Residents are encouraged to engage with the parade by posting their pictures and thoughts online via our social channels.
‘Sing-a-Story for Sandbach’ invites residents of all ages to join our digital choir who will provide the soundtrack for the evening.
For those residents who do not live on the parade route, our online platforms will be alive with images and film from the event and copies of Chuck the Trucker will be available soon at Sandbach Library.
Legends, Lights and Lullabies is commissioned and produced by SpareParts in association with Minerva Arts and Sandbach Transport Festival.
