Returning to Kelvingrove Park this year on Sunday 26 June 2022 from 12 noon to 8pm. FREE to attend! Glasgow Mela is a wonderful multi-cultural festival which brings music, dance, arts, and vibrancy to the heart of Glasgow’s west end.
Glasgow Mela is a great day out for all the family to enjoy in the stunning setting of Kelvingrove Park.
The event is free and un-ticketed. Showcasing local artists and performers and national and international acts.
As well as the programme running on-stage, there will be many more artists performing in an exciting programme of participatory activities including our second ever Mela Artist in Residence, Hamshya Rajkumar, who will invite our audience to connect with the green space that is our venue, Kelvingrove Park.
There will also be storytelling, literature, theatre, poetry and dance, with something on offer for all ages.
You will also have the chance to browse the market stalls and food vendors offering culinary delights from around the globe.
