Face.Masks – The Winter Droving (live), Penrith back to all events
This year the annual Winter Droving event will be completely different. This socially distanced immersive town wide experience will cast a spotlight on those from our community that have been recognised for delivering acts of kindness to others.
A celebratory feature taking place in St Andrew’s Churchyard across four nights from the 28- 31 Oct.
To see Face.Masks you must book a ticket with an entry timeslot so we can safely monitor capacity and maintain social distancing. Face.Masks will be open each evening between 18:00 – 21:00. There is very limited capacity so book now to avoid disappointment.
All are welcome to attend, we hope you will be generous with any donations to support The Winter Droving going forward and future Eden Arts work. As with many other arts and cultural organisations, our income has been affected by the COVID pandemic and future work is at risk.
Hiding In Plain Sight
In addition to the Face.Masks Churchyard Projections, another element of this year’s proceedings are the series of portraits that will be installed in many of the shop windows around the town. The masked figures are members of the community that were nominated for their acts of kindness. You can catch them from 24 Oct where they’ll be on display for 3 weeks, and some will remain up for longer.
