Canary Wharf Winter Lights, London back to all events

Spectacular light installations and interactive art.

The award-winning Winter Lights returns to Canary Wharf in January for a sixth year!

Canary Wharf will be transformed by over 25 spectacular installations, leaving the dark winter evenings aglow. The spectacle will showcase light art and interactive installations by some of the most innovative artists across the globe working in light art today.

Some favourites will return from previous years alongside some pieces never before seen in the UK and some newly commissioned artworks. The exhibition features both pieces which can be admired from afar as well as those which will allow people to get up close and interact with them.

Drop by one of our Winter Lights Bites street food hubs to pick up delicious dishes on the go or make an evening of it and book in to one of the many restaurants or bars at Canary Wharf.

From January, you will be able to download a map to help guide you round the festival or you can pick one up from one of our event stewards when you arrive. The route will take around 90 minutes to complete however you can discover the artworks in any order and at your own pace. We have even put together some handy suggested itineraries which include a quick tour for those short on time, a longer tour for those who want to leisurely explore Canary Wharf and even a family friendly tour for those with little ones.  These will also be available to download from early January.
