Like most people, we don’t have a crystal ball that tells us when lockdown regulations will relax, or what that will be like. We don’t even have any highly-paid advisors pretending they know…
As things stand right now, we anticipate being able to support a festival of some sort on our usual dates in 2021, and that is what we are currently working on. But we can’t dismiss the possibility that we might have to move some or all events to later in the summer – so being flexible about dates is a clear favourite at the moment. We’ll be keeping a weather eye on both restrictions and opportunities locally & nationally and will keep you posted when we have any more of a plan.
AUDIENCE: Just like you, we want to see things happening as quickly as we reasonably can, keeping everyone safe. Watch this space and our Social Media.
ARTISTS: We will announce all relevant deadlines, application processes and other useful information, here and on our Social Media. Because things aren’t clear, it is not yet possible to register an event or even an interest for Fringe 2021, though we’re happy to discuss individual projects if we can help. Our next announcement needs to wait until we’ve had a serious conversation with core Fringe venues, expect more news in February if we can.
