Listen to the inspiring and thought-provoking stories exploring creative collaboration between artists, producers and land managers both in Wales and across borders. Six short podcasts take us on a journey across diverse ideas, locations, communities and challenges, rooted in Wales and connecting across the globe.

Creative Landscapes – The Story of the Wye Valley River Festival

A treasure trove of anecdotes and insights into the story of the festival over the last six years – from its birth through to the present day.

Wye-based actor and comedian Miles Jupp (whose work includes Radio 4’s The News Quiz) talks to Sarah Sawyer, Wye Valley AONB and Phill Haynes and Jon Beedell, Festival Creative Producers, charting the highlights and challenges of an ambitious collaboration that keeps evolving and growing, opening up land and culture to all.

Creative Landscapes – Future Generations

Wales is the only country in the world where the wellbeing of future generations is government policy with the ‘Wellbeing of Future Generations Act’.

Rosie Strang, Co-Director of Articulture talks to Phil George, Chair of Arts Council of Wales, and Clare Pillman, Chief Executive of Natural Resources Wales and Board member of National Theatre Wales, about how cross sector collaborations between culture and environment here in Wales and across borders can help us meet our current challenges of inequality, pandemic and climate emergency, to take care of our future generations.

Do you have a creative idea for a new project outdoors? Are you a land manager looking to develop new projects or events? Articulture is an organisation dedicated to developing outdoor arts in Wales and invites creatives and land managers from Wales, England and beyond who are interested in working in this way to drop in to an informal open space with a cup of tea to bounce around ideas, ambitions and questions.
